Type of support: Theme coding.
What you are having trouble with: How would I go about start to code this --> http://z3.ifrm.com/429/92/0/p253976/SIMPLEBLUE2.png
What have you tried so far: My problem is coding the left border kind of ran out of ideas.

What do you mean coding the left border? Should be a simple full border slice (unless you're only using the top left in which case you'd just leave out the right side in the HTML). Just make sure the left side is the same width as the corner.

Elaboration/more info would help me. :o

Sorry for not providing enough info xD The top is where I where the sumbenu and logo would be at. I just want that left side border running 100% down. Here is my test board so you can see what I have so far. http://s1.zetaboards.com/Playback/index/

Hi.
Simply add a div class with a repeating background, float:left, and height: 100%. :P

Just add a side_l as if you were adding full image borders. If you need help, just post again with your layout.

Where would I place it in the layout?

Hi.
Well, it depends what all you want inside of the border.. Also, I don't think you want your topmenu within the top area. Probably like this?
Quote:

Didnt work.. this is what I have in my CSS:

Code:

#main_content {width:100%;margin:0px auto;}

#side_l {background:url(http://z3.ifrm.com/429/92/0/p253968/leftrpt.png) bottom;height: 100%; width: 78px; float:left;

Hi.
Hmm.. Just try moving the left side div around.

It sounds like it should be fairly simple, but it's not working right. xD
