Level 2 Posts: 24 Group: Members Member #3,595 Joined: 23/06/2009	Greetings, everyone! I am the creator of a zombie text-based roleplaying game. I need assistance working out a few bumps in the plot, and I was hoping for general feedback (even if RPs aren't your thing). I am not trying to advertise the site--I am merely trying to determine the best next step in plot. A little bit of background information: It takes place in a fictional city in Utah where the government released the virus on the general population and then quarantined the city. The main reason is to test the virus to see if its successful with population control, and the zombies will later be eradicated. (And thus the gov't can pretend they had nothing to do with it.) My question is based on adding a twist to this because there are only so many times your characters run from zombies before it gets boring. Is it appropriate to start adding in more of a Silent Hill-esque twist to it? Or can you think of some sort of epic occurrence to throw in? What would complicate an already desperate-survival situation and make the site more attractive? I apologize if this thread is in the wrong place.

Regardless though, I think it's great you're twisting things up so things aren't boring and repetitive. I'm not really that creative, but something like the movie 'The Happening' would be pretty cool (basically, 'nature' turns crazy and makes people kill themselves). Something exciting, yet creative is what you're after. Maybe this could be an idea to consider and bounce ideas off? Sorry I couldn't be of more help D: GL btw ^__^

I would have to find a way to get the gov't to control such things in the first place, and then try to decide which ones to actually change. For example, a change in the weather would be awesome, but that's so huge and something that cannot be controlled by humanity. Having all the grass grow insanely huge with spiked blades would be totally badass, though. Human-eating venus fly traps? It sounds good to me. Thanks once again, and I'm still open to feedback from anyone.
