Workout Routines

Hi.
I've never honestly had any sort of workout routine. It's not that I'm lazy, it's just the fact that I don't need to work out really. I'm not macho-man or anywhere near it, but between pitching for baseball and bowling (15lb bowling ball a foot or two over my back shoulder every single shot.. hundreds of times each day, that builds up), I thought that was good enough (and it is, really). I was a member of the local YMCA for a long time, but I just swam, played basketball, or did some easy treadmill stuff. Not doing that anymore with my brother working now and all... but hm, why not work out at least a little bit- at home?

That said, do you guys have any simple routines to get me started? I've got a weight bench and ab-lounge thing that I've never really made use of, so that's an option as well. :O

Does your school offer a weight lifting class?

I curl every day, helps tone my muscles.... I don't do much more..I might lift every once in awhile but not daily, maybe I'd say every 3 days...

Once a month I go to the gym and run on the treadmill for half an hour, go lift maybe start with 125 (easy), then 175(moderate), and then 200...but of course it takes a while to work your way up on the lifts..start out low, then work up with bigger weights, that's all that I do...

I don't believe so. I'm at a ninth grade campus, so all of the good stuff is at the main campus. D:

Free weight bars.. like the bars to the sides of your head (when you're lying down), that you can rest the weights on? If that's it, yes, those are on the weight bench.. haha.

lol I mean that you can take the lift bar off the bench and curl it if you wanted.

Anyways, what you should do if you're wanting to do a lil each day is set a weekly routine. Sets and reps.

Like 10/8/6. Start on a low weight that's not a real issue to do, do 10. Add a little more weight and do 8, add a lil more and do 6. Do that with both benching and curling (not the same weights of course) and if you wanted you could even add in more work outs like dead lifts or power cleans
