I recently got Camtasia Studio, and I am running Linux, and it worked, and it all runs except for studio, and I was running if you could help.

What isn't working? I vaguely remember camtasia. haha.
Consider this statement my permission to convert my themes to other platforms. Please link back to http://geoffreykoester.com. Be sure to rehost all theme images on the new platform as we do not know how long they will redirect. Also some boards hosting theme/skin images may not survive the move.

Would you mind explaining your problem a bit more? From what I can tell/read, you're saying it worked "all except for studio"?

the studio is one of the programs that comes with it, it's essentially the editor. He's suggesting it won't run

OP is suggesting that ONLY the studio won't run, the rest does. Most likely not a compatibility issue since it comes in one download, one installer

As far as I know, Camtasia is for Windows only. The fact that you got some of it working on Linux is surprising in itself. If anything, try using Wine on it.

Well, the studio is the main component with the most features, thus giving more opportunities for things to blow up (I would think). :P

Hi.
Oh, if you're using Windows, run it in compatibility mode or as an administrator. :P
