The Count of Montecristo
How could I forget this? One of my absolute favorites! Its plot is unbelievably twisted, but that's what makes it so great.
Every time I see your face,
My heart takes off on a high speed chase.
Now don't be scared, it's only love
That we're falling in.

I like reading, but only if I get to pick what I read myself. Unfortunately with school going on I tend to have too many mandatory reading to do. :P

None in particular, I'll read if it's adventurous or war related.

You mean Edgar Allen Poe? xD
His work is pretty complex. I personally find it confusing and some of his work is disturbing D: But you gotta give credit to the man-he did have a pretty bad life.

Aaaand yeah, I don't like Shakespeare. -___- My sister's a complete English nerd and loves Shakespeare..she read his stuff for fun..x_x

I like Poe's stories. They're off-beat and interesting. You don't always get to read things that are completely original :P .

I know, and the characters are just so rich in conflicts and internal dilemmas, etc... Indeed, an amazing book.

I cannot seem to pick a favourite I like mostly all the Mills and Boon Books, Silhouette & Tempation Books.
I love Romance Novels, if you could not tell.

The Ice and Fire Series, by George R. R. Martin, is a personal favorite of mine.
Also pretty much anything Arthurian I like, especially King Arthur: Dragon's Child, which I just recently finished, and I recommend it to anyone in the mood for an Arthurian read without knights in shining armor. ;)
.. basically anything fantasy and/or medieval

I love A Song of Ice and Fire as well. It is the basis for Game of Thrones.

I read The Outsiders in the 7th grade and The Hunger Games this year, both of which were really good. After reading it, we even watched the movie of The Outsiders. I can't wait for The Hunger Games movie.
