Okay, first of all...I didn't make this, haha. I have this cousin that's going to go to college for like...graphic design or something (I think) and she made this and sent it to me...asked to get critique and whatnot, so here I am! Haha :P

As far as I know, it's her first ZB print...but she's been designing for years. :P

Why did you not get her to join? :P

It's too washed out. Needs more contrast between colours. Other than that it's nice and basic. Tell her not to make the inner glow too strong on the H2 because it makes it flat as opposed to making it stand out. If she wants to make it stand out, she should do a white inner shadow.

I think the blue color needs to be not as pale haha. The color's just really really light and it would be better if it was a darker shade of blue or something.

Personally, I like the blue color and the h2 the way they are. It makes the theme look very calm (very different from the themes that are usually posted here), which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
The text on the td does need to be made darker though. It's current color is a bit too light to be easily readable, at least on my screen (LCD with brightness set to max).

Wow so bright. I like the shade of blue used. I think the top gloss on the h2 is too strong, and the category area is hard to see. The submenu seems really simple too.

Haha, I told her she should, but I dunno...she didn't really give me a reason as to why not besides the fact that she doesn't have Internet unless she's at my house (like now) or like...rarely at school. :P

And here's an update. :o http://z4.ifrm.com/12421/6/0/p1041040/3.png

Lower the brightness a bit, and perhaps add a little more variety on the submenu. apart from this, I think it is a nice theme, easy on the eyes. <3

It's a love story, baby just say yes
Definitely really washed out, but everything looks great.

I still think it needs to be darker. :P As I said earlier the submenu needs more depth.

It looks alright, but if someone were to take a career in graphic design without knowing about contrast, they'd be screwed...

It's very nice, with the theme it's going for washed out isn't too bad but this one is too bad haha. Just needs a lil extra color popping and it will look amazing :)

flashfox- That's why the go to college to learn the basics and learn contrast and all of that. You can go into college for Graphic Design with no experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or anything. College is about learning, it might be a bit harder without the needed practice, but you get the most of what college is for that way.
