Why do we need to be polite? I wanted to go into a little more detail, but I really don't think it's relevant anymore. I just feel as though politeness should be implied. You shouldn't need to thank somebody for something. They should just assume that you're thankful unless otherwise stated, especially in the workplace. It's really irritating to hear "please" and "thank you" every two seconds at McDonalds. |

Politeness is what sets up apart from primates and other animals, sure some of society's niceties are highly unnecessary, but being polite isn't unnecessary, it should be unrequited. |
