She can take that money, and live the rest of her life in peace, doing whatever she wants. It's astounding that that much money was raised in such a short amount of time. My $20 seems really little, right about now. Maybe this whole thing was a double-edged sword? In a way, those kids helped her possibly retire. After all, the best revenge is living well.

Thats just cruel and mean. Thought the Vacation idea is awesome. If only everyone who suffered through that got the chance she is getting with this money. Glad there is a happy ending. So far.

A Shadow Ball blasted forth, and was blocked by Phoenix's Force Field Shield. He unsheathed his sword, and Circus glared at it. “That's Derek's blade...” he muttered, and felt his chest for the old wound. He glared. “Don't think an old sword can defeat me!” “Old it may be, but it injured you once,” Phoenix replied, and struck, nearly cutting Circus in two, who jumped back. Slowing down time, he quickly ran towards Phoenix, a Shadow Ball in each hand. “Say your prayers!” he said, and releasing his control on time, put his hands together, merging the Shadow Balls, and blasting a full force Shadow Wave. Phoenix, luckily, was still holding his Force Field Shield, which put up a barrier to block most of the attack, leaving Phoenix only just harmed. “That shield of yours has got to go...” Circus held a hand stretched out next to him, hand unclenched. A dark shadow, long and sharp, appeared in it, and solidified to reveal a scythe. He slashed down, without warning, right through flesh and bone. Phoenix's shield was not the only thing to fall to the ground. With a shout of pain, Phoenix fell on his knees, clutching his wrist. “Yet another warrior that falls at my feet,” Circus laughed, and raised his left hand, straight at Phoenix. Sounds like a great idea, doesn't it? Except this bus load of kids is far from being the only bullies and the only kids that act this way. They do need to be punished though, make an example out of them. Removing these kids won't remove the problem by far. This was just on the Today show, and the woman said she didn't want criminal charges brought against them. She wanted them punished, but wasn't sure how. I thought that was very big of her, considering all she went through.

I only made it through two minutes of it. If you read the comments, kids from the bus are commenting. Totally remorseless, promise that they'll never regret it or feel bad about it. I swear, their parents could not have failed any more than they did. Your job as a parent is to raise a decent human being who can function in society, and not one of those kids meets that definition. They're horrible people, plain and simple.

It's disgusting how these kids were treating an elder. I'm so glad that someone thought to set up a donation pool. If they keep coming in like they have thus far she'll never have to set foot on that bus again. As Nick said, definitely a double-edged sword, but at least there's a happy ending.
