Well... This is fairly complicated. It's something I've been working on almost non-stop for the last couple of days, in my free-time (which is, admittedly, not much). It's intention is to be a fully-functional ZetaBoards Minecraft Administrative Panel, which I am dubbing "zMap". It's in the early stages, but you can view what I have, so far, right here. There are only two real functions to it, at the moment. One, you can edit the textarea on the left. It saves anything that you type to a file on my server, and then reloads it. This is the prototype for the configuration tool, where you'll be able to select a configuration file on your server, and edit it in the box. The script will scan your server for accepted file-types ('.yml', '.txt', etc), and output them to a selection screen, where you'll be able to pick one, and edit it. Two, on the right of the panel, you'll see that query that is outputted by your server. If the server is down, you'll be greeted with "Failed to receive challenge.". It will display a lot of important information about the server, such as the number of players online (and who they are), installed plugins, server IP (in-case you're using a domain, such as 'mc.arcpvp.com'), and many other things. Again, this is in the very early stages, and will probably take another month (maybe longer) to finish. But I wanted to get some feedback, and maybe some advice. With that said; Does anyone have any feedback (or advice). <3 Note: In case anyone is wondering how this is achievable on a Zetaboards website, it's essentially .php files hosted on a remote server and iframed into the forum. Once I reach a certain point in development, I'll release the source code. Note that, at the moment, the server IS down. It should be back in less than an hour. I'm upgrading it to allow for a new type of gameplay, that will make Driver, Cody, and I happy. Once it's back, you'll be able to see the query output that's normally there. Server is back up, and you can view the query perfectly. Edited by Ferus Grim, Thursday, 16. August 2012, 09:21.

I must have broke the query, somehow. It's displaying as the server being down, when it's not. I'm looking into it. |

Looking good, Nicholas. I think you should try to stick to using ZetaBoards' CSS classes, though, so that it will being to be skinned automatically by any theme, making it must more of a usable public tool.

That's a good idea. Though, it may require a bit of finagling. |

So... My webhost is also controlled by my Minecraft Host. I recently upgraded my server, which included transferring to a different server box. During the transfer, data on my webhosting service was lost. This includes the majority of the files for ZetaMiner. I don't quite have my moral built up enough for start over, so until then, this project is closed. |
